School workshops - I deliver workshops and short courses for secondary school students. 20 years of experience teaching A Level and GCSE Art at an outstanding school enables me to design and deliver programs which inspire, boost skills and contribute to coursework.
Tutoring - I offer one to one tutoring in my home studio for adults and young people.
WORKSHOPS
This workshop is designed to develop your observational drawing skills and increase your confidence with this versatile drawing media and will cover:
- methods for accurate recording of scale, proportion and shape.
- different types of charcoal
- building tonal value and using mark making to add to the illusion of three-dimensional form.
We will work from photographs which will be provided.
The small group size means this class is suitable for beginners in portraiture through to those who are developing their confidence.
